WIPO Launches New Customer Service Center
04-Oct-2010 GENEVA - The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) launched on October 1, 2010 a new Customer Service Center as part of its efforts to improve the Organization’s responsiveness to all its stakeholders – including member states, users of its global protection services and the general public.
According to the Organization, this is also in line with WIPO’s Strategic Realignment Program and contributes to realizing one of the Organization’s four core values, namely service orientation.
The Center will respond to general questions on intellectual property and WIPO by telephone or email, and will also serve to receive feedback and suggestions. In addition, it will help in channeling enquiries to the most appropriate specialized WIPO information service (e.g. Patent Cooperation Treaty, Madrid system, Arbitration and Mediation Center etc.) or individual experts.
This service complements a number of other specialized WIPO information lines, whose contact information is available through the WIPO website “Contact” page.
