Requirements for Filing Patents Application
1• Authorisation of Agent, simply signed and stamped by or on behalf of the Applicant;
2• “Clean and clear” copy of the specification, including claims, abstract and any drawings;
3• Certified priority document(s), if applicable.
4• Sworn English translation of the priority document(s), if not in the English language;
5• Notarized Assignment of Invention (and Priority Rights,) if the inventors are not employees of the applicant or if the priority applicant and the Nigerian applicant differ.
