In Yemen, AGIP took part in a vital workshop focused on developing a National Knowledge & Innovation Index, hosted by the General Authority for Science, Research, Technology, and Innovation. This initiative aims to strengthen the country’s innovation ecosystem by measuring and fostering knowledge creation. Additionally, AGIP played a prominent role as a main speaker during the World Intellectual Property Day 2025 celebrations at the Lebanese International University, underscoring its leadership in shaping IP discourse in the region.
Meanwhile, in Jordan, AGIP successfully organized a specialized workshop titled ‘Legal Protection of Trademarks,’ providing valuable insights into trademark laws and strategies for safeguarding brand identity. The event drew attention from legal professionals, business owners, and innovators seeking to deepen their understanding of trademark protection.
In the United Arab Emirates, AGIP proudly attended the launch of the country’s first Geographical Indications (GI) system designed to protect national products. This landmark development highlights the UAE’s commitment to preserving the authenticity and heritage of local goods, and AGIP’s participation reflects its dedication to supporting IP advancements that benefit regional economies.
