Since its establishment, AGIP has encouraged the introduction ofintellectual property laws and an efficient IP system to the Arab world.
AGIP exerted its utmostefforts in coordination and collaboration with, both regional and internationalassociations, to improve the infrastructure for intellectual property protectionin the Arab world.
This was manifestedthrough its assistance and continued support provided to governmentalcommittees and officials charged with revising and drafting new laws andregulations for the enforcement of intellectual property rights in several Arabcountries such as Bahrain, Yemen, Oman, Tunisia and Afghanistan.
