Fees for Document Legalization and Attestation Increased in UAE

DUBAI - The Director of Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the United Arab Emirates Abdulrahman Ahmed Al Shamlan announced that the fees for legalization and attestation have been raised starting February 1, 2006 for all kinds of documents according to the Cabinet Decision No. 1/2006.



According to Al Shamlan’s official statement, a copy of which has been obtained by Abu-Ghazaleh Intellectual Property (AGIP), the Power of Attorney legalization fees will jump from 1000 to 2000 dirhams, marking a total of 100 percent raise in the official fees.



Meanwhile, the legalization and attestation of other documents are available at the Ministry’s offices in Dubai.
