The Qatari Cabinet has given the approval for the country to join the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Copyright Treaty (WCT) and WIPO Performances and Phonograms Treaty (WPPT), the Khaleej Times reported.
This was one of several issues discussed at the regular weekly meeting of the Cabinet, at the Amiri Diwan, chaired by the Prime Minister, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Thani.
