Abu-Ghazaleh Intellectual Property (AGIP) would like to advise its clients that the Iraqi Consulate in Amman, Jordan has raised fees for all legalization services from $120 to $250 effective January 6, 2005.
This raise applies to all official documents such as power of attorney, certificate of change of name, deed of assignment for all intellectual property services such as trademarks, patents and industrial designs that need to be legalized or super legalized.
Super legalization occurs when a client cannot legalize the document up to the Iraqi Consulate. Instead, the document is legalized up to the Jordanian Consulate and/or up to the client's foreign ministry. At a later stage, the document is legalized up to Jordan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and then up to the Iraqi Consulate in Amman.
