RIYADH – Abu-Ghazaleh Intellectual Property (AGIP) - Amman signed an agreement with Saudi Arabia Airlines to become the registration agent for the Saudi Arabia Airlines trademark all over the world.
The agreement was signed by Mr. Tariq A. Shana’a of Abu-Ghazaleh Intellectual Property (AGIP) and Mr. Hashim A. Koshak of Saudi Airlines.
The agreement is intended to build up cooperation and strengthen efforts between the two parties, as well as to formulate methods and mechanisms to protect IPRs.
Under the terms of the agreement, AGIP will be the trademark registration agent for Saudi Airlines, where it will handle the registration process of this trademark starting from filing to registration, including the protection.
“I am very pleased with this new channel of cooperation which will ultimately serve in protecting Intellectual Property Rights in the Arab region and the world,” Dr. Talal Abu Ghazaleh said.
As a true global IP service provider, AGIP is continually striving to assist and support governments and multilateral organizations in enforcing the Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs).
Saudi Airlines operates flights to 27 domestic and 52 international destinations, and recently won the prestigious Arabian Business Achievement Award.
