WASHINGTON, DC - The US Senate gave, on December 7, 2007, its consent to the ratification of three treaties protecting Intellectual Property Rights, according to the Intellectual Property Owners Association.
The treaties are: the Singapore Treaty on the Law of Trademarks (signed by the US on March 28, 2006), the Patent Law Treaty (PLT) and Regulations (signed by the US on June 1, 2000) and the Geneva Act of the Hague Agreement Concerning the Registration of Industrial Designs (signed by the US on July 6, 1999).
