GENEVA - The International Convention for the Protection of New Varieties of Plants entered into force, with respect to the Kingdom of Morocco, on October 8, 2006. Accordingly, Morocco became a member of the International Union for the Protection of New Varieties of Plants, founded by the said convention, on the same date.
Morocco deposited its instrument of accession to the convention on September 8, 2006.
