Egyptian Patent Office Increases Patents Examination Fees – AGIP will Not

CAIRO – The Egyptian Patent Office announced that an increase in the official fees for the examination of patent applications has been applied in Egypt.
The patent examination fees have been increased from EGP 7,000 to EGP 17,530. This increase will be applied on all patent applications filed as from February 13, 2017.
Abu-Ghazaleh Intellectual Property (AGIP) assures all its clients that despite the above increase in the official examination fees, it will keep offering high quality services coupled with the same competitive charges. The above increase will not be reflected on AGIP prices.
