AGIP Presents Computers to Jordan’s Ministry of Industry and Trade

In a step reflecting the constructive cooperation between the private and public sectors in Jordan, Abu-Ghazaleh Intellectual Property (AGIP) presented on June 22, 2005, high performance computers to the Directorate of Industrial Property Protection (DIPP) at Jordan’s Ministry of Industry and Trade.

Dr. Muntaser Oqla, secretary-general of the Ministry received the computers from Mr. Luay Abu-Ghazaleh, vice-chairman and director-general of AGIP, with the attendance of Mr. Khalid Arabeyyat, head of DIPP.

"The Ministry highly appreciates the partnership developed through the years with the private sector which will have positive impact on the Jordanian economy on all levels," said Dr. Oqla.

He added that the Ministry is keen on working with the private sector to upgrade and modernize the level of service it provides.

Meanwhile, Mr. Abu-Ghazaleh said that the private sector should work closely with the public sector to create an entrepreneurial environment in Jordan.
