Jordan and Bulgaria signed on April 5, 2005, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to cooperate in the field of industrial property, including trademarks, patents, industrial designs, and geographical indications.
According to Petra News Agency, the MoU was signed by the Secretary-General of the Jordanian Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Bulgarian Vice-Minister of Industry.
The MoU affirmed that exchanging information and cooperation between Jordan and Bulgaria will enhance the protection of industrial property in both countries. Offering technical assistance and organizing training courses for both ministries’ employees in the field of industrial property was also incorporated in the MoU.
