The Fourth Internet Law Program (ILaw-4) 2003 was held in the Meridian Copacabana in Rio de Janeiro, between the 24th- 28th of March.
Abu-Ghazaleh Intellectual Property (AGIP), represented by Mr. Rami Olwan had the opportunity to attend this important event.
ILaw-4 was organized jointly by the Berkman Center for Internet and Society at Harvard Law School and the Getulio Varges Foundation (FGV).
Ilaw-4 instructors included some of the world's most renowned experts in the field, such as William Fischer III, Charles Nesson and Jonathan Zittrain from Harvard Law School, Lawrence Lessig from Stanford Law School and John Perry Barlow, co-founder of Electronic Frontier Foundation (EEF)
The Program sponsors included Microsoft, and The Supreme Court of Rio de Janeiro among others and many more.
During the intensive five-day program, participants attended twenty (90-minute) lectures that addressed the most vital and controversial issues surrounding the Internet and its related laws being debated by lawmakers both within the US and on the international scene.
