UAE Launched Intellectual Property Portal

DUBAI – The Commercial Compliance and Consumer Protection (CCCP) sector of the Department of Economic Development (DED) at the United Arab Emirates announced that first Intellectual Property portal has been launched in Dubai.
The portal has been launched to receive all complains related to trademark infringement through its website (
www.consumerrights.ae), starting from receiving complains, opening files, conducting field investigation, till handing out the findings to the trademark owner.
The Commercial Compliance and Consumer Protection (CCCP) sector will activate the portal on September 2016.
