Moreover, AGIP Africa Liaison Office carries out registrations at OAPI (Organization Africaine de la Propriété Intellectuelle), whereby patents and trademarks can be registered in Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Ivory Coast, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Senegal and Togo.
As for some other countries where no trademark laws are in force, AGIP Africa Liaison Office provides the service of publication of cautionary notices.These countries include: Comoro Islands, Eritrea, Cape Verde and Sao Tome e Principe.
