Abu-Ghazaleh Intellectual Property (AGIP) announces the establishment of its representative office in Shanghai, China. The office will be enhancing the relationship between the IP community in China and its international counterpart.
The new office will be playing a significant role in liaising IP-right owners in China and their recognized representatives and the international IP community. Furthermore, the China Office will be representing AGIP clients and associates worldwide through the responsible government departments and registered attorneys and agents recognized by the government.
AGIP’s China Office in Shanghai will also assist IP-right owners worldwide in the protection of their rights in the various countries where AGIP has correspondents, and through the AGIP network of offices and in general to promote the IP interests and activities of AGIP in China.
It’s worth mentioning that the China Office will not exercise any activities related exclusively to local Chinese entities except through recognized and authorized Chinese attorneys and agents.
The Resident-in-Charge of the AGIP China Office is Ms. Ridab Abutaleb who is conversant in the Chinese language and culture. The office has been equipped with a Chinese language enabled computer facility and has begun collaborations in the Chinese language. The English language will be in use as well.
