Azerbaijan Copyright Office Launches Online Application System

BAKU - The Copyright Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan has recently introduced an online registration service, available on its website and the portal E-Government.

It is currently possible to submit electronic applications for the registration of:


•Copyright


•Related rights


•Databases protected under copyright law


•Databases protected under sui-generis law


•Integrated circuits

The number of IP areas covered by the online service will increase when the new Law on Enforcement of Intellectual Property Rights and Combating Piracy enters into force.
