Yemen Starts E-filing of Trademark Applications
20-Feb-2013 SANA’A – The Ministry of Industry and Trade launched on February 14, 2013 the first of its kind system of trademark filing via Internet in Yemen.
The online system will provide more efficient, timely and cost effective filing service, where local representative and local clients may pay the official fees, and then submit their application and the required document by using the internet which will speed up the process of examination, and issuing publication notices in a timely manner.
Following this service, the Ministry of Industry and Trade plans to automate the entire services it offers in order to improve and enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of services.
