New Automation Search in UAE Reveals Identical Marks Only
05-Feb-2013 ABU DHABI – The Trademark Office of the United Arab Emirates announced that it has started implementing a new automation search system which will only reveal the identical marks and not the confusingly similar marks.
Therefore, Abu-Ghazaleh Intellectual Property (AGIP) offers its clients a comprehensive search service which will be conducted on trademarks published in the official Gazette, and the results will cover both identical and similar marks.
AGIP’s internal database search displays the most important details of trademarks including devices/logo, which is not possible at the Trademark Office.
