The Jordanian Bar Association has recently decided not to accept any applications for training lawyers as of the 1st of September 2003, until a specialized center for training & research is established in the Kingdom. Such center with its qualified cadre shall be able to set up appropriate schemes and adopt accurate evaluation standards in order to qualify competent lawyers and regulate the bar. The Bar’s decision to stop accepting any lawyers for training is attributed to the large increase in law graduates
