Malaysia to Accede to WIPO Copyright & Performances and Phonograms Treaties
11-Oct-2012 GENEVA - The Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) notified the deposit by the Government of Malaysia, on September 27, 2012, of its instrument of accession to the WIPO Copyright Treaty, adopted in Geneva on December 20, 1996.
According to WIPO, the said Treaty will enter into force, with respect to Malaysia, on December 27, 2012.
In addition, Malaysia was notified of its deposit on September 27, 2012, of its instrument of accession to the WIPO Performances and Phonograms Treaty, adopted in Geneva on December 20, 1996.
The said Treaty will enter into force, with respect to Malaysia, on December 27, 2012.
