AGIP Particpates in MARQUES Annual Meeting and INTA Design Protection Conference
26-Sep-2012 COPENHAGEN and ATHENS - Abu-Ghazaleh Intellectual Property (AGIP) represented by its CEO and Managing Partner, Mr. Luay T. Abu-Ghazaleh, and its Clients Relations Manager, Ms. Dima Naber, took part in the 26th MARQUES Annual Meeting held under the theme “Trade Marks: Sign of the Times” in Athens, Greece.
The event shed light on impact of social media and domain name expansion; new enforcement and anti-counterfeiting strategies and the latest developments on third-party use of trademarks through workshops and seminars that also tackled updates on World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), the Office of Harmonization for the Internal Market (OHIM) and the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) case law.
Meanwhile AGIP also participated in International Trademark Association (INTA) Design Protection Conference held in Copenhagen, Denmark and tackled several issues such as interplay between designs, copyrights and trademarks; functional design and artistic expression; enforcement of designs; complex legal issues related to design; etc. …
