IIAA Promotes Intellectual Property in Bahrain
09-May-2012 MANAMA - The Information Affairs Authority (IIAA) is stepping up efforts to
promote intellectual property among school students, according to Bahrain
news Agency.
The IAA Directorate of Publications and Publishing launched the campaign last
April in coordination with the Education Ministry.
A series of forums have been organized in this regard for Intermediate School
students, highlighting the concept of individual and corporate intellectual
property.
The detrimental impact of cyber piracy and pirated copies were also highlighted.
IAA Directorate of Publications and Publishing legal researcher Mariam Omran
said that the campaign would also benefit high school and university students.
