Abu-Ghazaleh Intellectual Property (AGIP) would like to notify all its clients that it is currently reviewing the issue of the Power of Attorney to be used with the Libyan authorities. Accordingly, we advise our clients to postpone any legalization of the needed power of attorney until the above matter is completely clarified.
As we have informed you earlier, the Libyan Trademarks Office is still reconsidering what action to be taken regarding trademark applications filed between 1981 and August 2002, whatever the decision will be, AGIP advises clients to complete any requirements needed for filing applications and proceed with the registration process while leaving the Power of Attorney to be sent later
