The International Legal Assistance Consortium (ILAC) has recently sent an investigation mission to IRAQ to assist the rebuilding and strengthening of Iraq’s justice legal system.
The task of the appointed mission is mainly to identify specific training and assistance projects, and support the election process of the news IRAQI Bar Council, which was expected to take place on 14th of August this year. The investigation mission has taken this role with the approval of the UN Special Representative in IRAQ and the Coalition Provisional authority.
