Abu-Ghazaleh Intellectual Property (AGIP) would like to announce that a new IP Mediation & Arbitration Center has been established as one of the projects of the Arab Society for Intellectual Property Mediation & Arbitration (ASIPMA). The establishment of the Center has been officially announced in local newspapers that examined in detail the objectives and goals of the Center.
It is worth noting that the General Assembly of the Jordanian Arab Society for Intellectual Property (ASIP) held a meeting and unanimously agreed to change the appellation of the Society to be the Arab Society for Intellectual Property Mediation & Arbitration (ASIPMA).
Salient objectives of the IP Mediation & Arbitration Center are:
To prepare lists of the existing experts and professionals in the fields of intellectual Property, IP cases and Mediation, and to circulate such lists on all Arab countries.
To qualify and orientate IP experts through specialized workshops in IP.
To collaborate with WIPO and ICC in the fields of mediation & arbitration.
To confer with the respective parties in the Arab League to expand the capacity of the center.
To solve trademark disputes among different parties through mediation and arbitration within the shortest time and at reasonable costs.
To reach at satisfactory solutions that match the requirements of the business sector, and keep pace with on-going developments in business and finance world.
To exert the utmost efforts to reach at amicable conciliation among the disputed parties in order to establish continuous and stabilized relationships among them
