Under the Patronage of His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Intellectual Property Week (IP Week) will be held in Amman between 11-14 of August 2003.
This IP Week, which is considered the first event of its kind in the Middle East, has gathered the foremost experts in the world from judiciary, academia, and industry to share their insight on critical issues such as: Protection and enforcement, Intellectual assets as a vehicle for economic growth & business expansion, and knowledge management.
This event is organized by Jordan Intellectual Property Association (JIPA) in cooperation with the International Intellectual Property Institute (IIPI) in Washington, D.C, with support from the USAID funded AMIR Program.
IP Week is sponsored by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and many others.
