LONDON - World Trademark Review, IAM magazine’s sister publication, has just released the first-ever WTR 1000, the only standalone ranking publication to focus exclusively on trademark practices and practitioners.

To get the results, the WTR team of IP Media Group researchers spent three months interviewing in-house and private practice lawyers/attorneys based in over 50 countries. They were asked to identify who they consider to be the leading individuals and firms where they operate and why.
Armed with these responses, the team then approached those whose names came up most frequently to ask them to provide references, as well as to give more details of the work they do. With all this information, the final decisions about who should be listed were made. The result is rankings in 56 jurisdictions.
