Jordan’s Lower House approved, June 10, 2004, the Trade Names Law with minor changes that were added.
King Abdullah II has issued a Royal Decree approving the temporary Trade Names Law No. 22, April 2003. The Trade Names Law was published in the Official Gazette and entered into force as of the date of its publication.
The Law elaborates on the provisions regulating different aspects surrounding Trade Names such as their registrability, ownership, transfer, mortgage and cancellation.
The Implementing Regulations are still at the Legislating Bureau and will be issued within a month.
