AGIP Pakistan Participates in Intellectual Property Rights Conference 2011
24-Mar-2011 KARACHI – Abu Ghazaleh Intellectual Property Pakistan Office (AGIP Pakistan) took part in a full day Intellectual Property Rights Conference 2011 “An International Perspective, Realization and Implementation / Counterfeiting and Piracy Issues” on March 19, 2011 in Karachi.
Aamir F. Khan, AGIP Pakistan manager highlighted the basics of IPR, its importance and counterfeit issues and solutions.
The Conference aimed at providing a platform for interaction amongst all relevant stakeholders i.e. the policy makers, manufacturers, industries, academia, entrepreneurs and others to underline the IPR implementation issues in global, social and economical perspectives.
The Conference was attended by Raza Haroon, Minister of Information and Technology, Govt. of Sindh), Senator Abdul Haseeb Khan, Andrey V. Demidov, consul general of the Russian Federation in Karachi, Shahjahan Ketran, chairman of Intellectual Property Organization in Pakistan and other top officials.
