AGIP Oman Office Participates in Workshops on IP

MUSCAT - Abu-Ghazaleh Intellectual Property (AGIP) Oman Office had a strong presence recently in two workshops on Intellectual Property (IP) organized by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in cooperation with Ministry of Commerce and Industry of Sultanate of Oman.
The two workshops centered on Protocol Relating to the Madrid Agreement Concerning the International Registration of Marks, and Hague System for the International Registration of Industrial Designs.
Moreover, they aimed at strengthening efforts to create a national strategy on Intellectual Property in Oman.
Representing AGIP, a delegation from AGIP Oman Office took part in the workshops, as well as experts from WIPO and Ministry of Commerce and Industry of Sultanate of Oman.
Aside the workshops, AGIP’s delegate had an array of discussions with participants about various issues such as Madrid protocol, its procedure and impacts.
