Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property Accepts Trademark Applications
20-Feb-2020 RIYADH – As per the decision of the National Council of Ministers in Saudi Arabia, a new body for Intellectual Property protection has been established under the name “Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property (SAIP)” to regulate, promote and protect Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) in Saudi Arabia.
SAIP is now in charge of all IP activities in Saudi Arabia, completing the work that has been done by the Ministry of Trade and Investment in the field of IP.
Furthermore, SAIP launched a portal related to IP services, where the public may register their IPRs electronically.
