PCT National Phase Starts Entry in Chile on December 2
30-Nov-2010 SANTIAGO – Abu-Ghazaleh Intellectual Property (AGIP) would like to inform its clients that on December 2, 2010, Chile meets the 18 months term as from the entrance into force of the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT), for entry into National Phase of international applications.
This means that all PCT applications having international filing date from June 2, 2009 and designating Chile (CL) as a contracting state, must enter the National Phase within the December 2, 2010 deadline, otherwise, the invention could pass to public domain.
