AGIP Turkey Office Attends Turkey–Spain Legal Services Meeting

ANKARA - Abu-Ghazaleh Intellectual Property (AGIP) Turkey office has attended the meeting of “Turkey – Spain Legal Services” which was held in Ankara Swiss Hotel on November 4, 2010 with the cooperation of the General Council of Spanish Attorneys, Institute of Spanish Foreign Trade (ICEX) and the Ankara Office of the Spanish Embassy, Undersecretariat of Economy and Trade. In this meeting, Spanish and Turkish law firms were gathered and found the chance to collaborate.

The main purpose of this meeting was to provide Turkish and Spanish attorneys with the opportunity to share their experiences and knowledge in the wide range of legal services, including but not limited to, intellectual property, commercial laws, law of obligations.

Ms. Ozlem Ozgur Arslan (Executive Director of Turkey Office) together with Ms. Gizem Atasu (Marketing Officer of Turkey Office) attended this event. Commenting on the event, Ms. Arslan said that “it is the responsibility of lawyers to provide an appropriate environment for the international trade between Turkey and Spain and for our clients to do business more effectively. We have always been supporting such events as they would help to give rise to the investments between two countries. Moreover, this event can be considered as a bridge between the Turkish and Spanish lawyers.”
