Stars of Science Third Season Launched
07-Nov-2010 DOHA - Coinciding with airing the second season of “Stars of Science” - the worldwide competition for young Arab inventors and innovators, the Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development is launching the third season of the show that gives the chance to all young Arab Inventors to turn their ideas into a great invention and maybe win a prize of $300 000, according to ag-IP-news Agency.
This competition will be under the form of a new original television program.
The deadline for submitting the application forms is November 25th 2010. Selected candidates will only be invited to meet with a panel of experts in their country to pitch their projects.
The staff of Qatar Foundation is dedicated to making the knowledge-based society a reality. They are doing this through the frontline activities of education, scientific research and community development, but many people are applying a wide diversity of skills in administrative and support positions to implement the organization's human development mission. This structure is headed by a Board of Directors, chaired by Sheikha Mozah Bint Nasser Al-Missned.
