AGIP's Executive Director Nominated to INTA Board of Directors

NEW YORK - Mr. Charles Sha'ban, Abu-Ghazaleh Intellectual Property (AGIP) executive director has been nominated to a three-year term on the board of the International Trademark Association (INTA). His term begins on January 1, 2011, making him the only member on the INTA board representing the Arab region.
This was announced in INTA October 15 bulletin and the final vote will be during the coming INTA Leadership Meeting on November 10th in Phoenix.
Sha'ban has been an active INTA member since 2003, and he continues to serve on INTA’s Bulletin Committee as the Middle East, North Africa, Central Asia and East Europe Sub-committee Chair.
Previously he was a member of the Bulletin and Internet Committees of INTA.
Sha'ban said: "I am really honoured to be part of this great organization and I will continue to work side by side with this group of great thinkers who are really committed and dedicated. We are working upon the directions of our CEO Mr. Luay Abu-Ghazaleh who is a leader in the IP field and who has made great strides in developing IP."

Abu-Ghazaleh Intellectual Property (AGIP) received in June 2010 for the fourth time in a row the “Middle East IP Firm of the Year” Award for 2010.
