Oman Announces Fees of Industrial Property Rights

MUSCAT - Abu-Ghazaleh Intellectual Property (AGIP) announced in a Thursday press release that the Omani Minister of Commerce and Industry HE Maqboul bin Ali bin Sultan has issued on April 28, 2010 ministerial resolution No. 51/2010 determining fees of Industrial Property Rights.
The resolution states the following:
Article (1) the fees of Industrial Property Rights shall be determined according to the Implementing Regulations attached herewith.
Article 2: The Ministerial Resolution No. 91/2005 referred to herein shall be revoked as well as any other item to the contrary of this resolution or the provisions thereof.
Article 3: This resolution shall be published in the Official Gazette and shall be enforceable one month after the date of its publication.
The resolution was published at the Official Gazette Edition No. 911 and will enter into force on June 15, 2010.
