Global Association Goes to Boston, Welcomes Peter Guber as Keynote

16-May-2010

NEW YORK, NY - Beginning May 22 through May 26, the International Trademark Association (INTA) will welcome more than 8,000 delegates from around the world to the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center (BCEC) in Boston, Massachusetts, for the Association’s 132nd Annual Meeting.

A press release by INTA stated that this global business meeting, the largest gathering of trademark owners and professionals in the world, will bring together participants from more than 130 countries to downtown Boston for five days of educational sessions, discussion forums, guest speakers and networking receptions.

INTA welcomes Peter Guber, founder and chairman of Mandalay Entertainment, as its special keynote speaker. Guber, who personally produced Academy Award nominated films such as The Color Purple and Rain Man, is an example of how current and future leaders can use the oral narrative to propel their business to success. Guber will speak at the Opening Ceremonies on May 24 on the craft and magic of successful storytelling.

“We are thrilled to host our Annual Meeting in Boston and are so grateful for the city’s hospitality. I’m looking forward to a dynamic five-day event, and I’m sure that Peter Guber’s speech will initiate the excitement that is generated by our Annual Meetings,” said INTA Executive Director, Alan Drewsen.
