New Procedures for Intellectual Property Rights Assignment in Lebanon

BEIRUT - Intellectual Property Protection Office in Lebanon announced that new procedures will be applied to assignment of Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) in Lebanon in connection with trademarks, patents, industrial designs and copyrights.
The new procedures stipulate that the applicants have to submit the original certificates of their assigned IPRs with the recordal applications in order to issue new certificates in the name of the current owners.
