AGIP and International Copyright Exchange in Chengdu Sign MoU

CHENGDU, China – Abu-Ghazaleh Intellectual Property (AGIP) and International Copyright Exchange in Chengdu signed a Memorandum of Understanding in Chengdu, China aimed at forming a close cooperative partnership under the principles of resource sharing, complementary advantages, and mutually beneficial cooperation.

The MoU in which AGIP is a Strategic Partner in the Middle East, while the International Copyright Exchange in Southwest China demonstrated that both parties, on the basis of equality and voluntariness, made the commitment to build up a long-term strategic cooperation between Southeast China and Middle East region. 

On behalf of AGIP, Ms. Noor Shangwei, AGIP Director of Greater China Region, accompanied by Ms. Tianjiao FENG, from Chengdu, along with Mr. LI Huana, the director of CDICE attended the signing ceremony. 

Chengdu has been considered as a potential market by HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh when he visited it last year. 

“Chengdu and Southwest China have been a promising and prosperous market which deserves to be explored together with our partners. We attach great importance to this collaborative opportunity and had absolutely confidence in promoting some proper concrete cooperation projects,” Ms. Shangwei said.

International Copyright Exchange in Chengdu is the first copyright service platform in western China approved by State Copyright Bureau, which is semi-official and semi-private organization. Its services include copyright register, copyright value assessment, copyright exchange, copyright finance, copyright incubation, and copyright protection, that is also called as mode 6C of service.
