AGIP India Manager Participates in ‘IPRs: Enhancing India’s Competitiveness’ Roundtable
28-Apr-2009 NEW DELHI – The Abu-Ghazaleh Intellectual Property (AGIP) India Office Manager Khaled Odeh will take part in the “Intellectual Property Rights: Enhancing India’s Competitiveness” roundtable on April 30, 2009, at the Le Meridien Hotel, New Delhi.
The event is held on the occasion of the World Intellectual Property Day and organized by the American Chamber of Commerce in India (AMCHAM) and the US Embassy in New Delhi.
The different sessions of the roundtable will discuss issues related to patents and copyright, trademark and enforcement.
The discussions during the patents session of this Roundtable will include data protection, patentable subject matter and pre-grant opposition, while the copyrights, trademarks and enforcement session will tackle issues on the proposed copyright amendments, optical disc legislation and Intellectual Property Rights enforcement and ways to improve it.
