GENEVA - The Government of the Republic of Turkey deposited, on August 28, 2008, its instrument of accession to the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Copyright Treaty (WCT), adopted in Geneva on December 20, 1996.
In addition, Turkey deposited on the same date its instrument of accession to the WIPO Performances and Phonograms Treaty (WPPT), adopted in Geneva on December 20, 1996.
According to WIPO, the aforementioned treaties will enter into force, with respect to the Republic of Turkey, on November 28, 2008.
