SEOUL - Any person may lodge an opposition to a trademark registration with the Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO) within two months of the publication date of the application, according to KASAN IP & Law Firm.
This 2-month period has been extended from 30 days, under the Revised Trademark Law, which became effective in Korea as of July 1, 2007.
