EURid Lowers Registration Fee to €4 Starting February 2008
28-Jan-2008
DIEGEM/BELGIUM - EURid, the European Registry of Domain Names, has lowered the registration and renewal fees from €5 to €4, with effect from February 1, 2008.
According to a press release by EURid, the trade and transfer fees will also be lowered to €4. Other fees will remain unchanged (i.e. reactivation from quarantine, change of registrar for names in quarantine and bulk transfers).
This change took place at midnight between January 31 and February 1, CET (Belgian time).
Please note that this is the price EURid charges its registrars. Each registrar decides what price to charge the end user. Often the price offered to the end user includes more than just the domain name, such as web space and email services.
