The Directorate General of Commerce at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman, announced that publication of renewal trademark applications in daily newspapers will be no longer required, effective May 8, 2004. Publication shall only take place in the Official Gazette of Oman as of the aforesaid date.
Trademark agents are requested to follow-up with the Directorate to receive the renewal certificate once the renewal is published in the Official Gazette.
