Deadline Extended to Request Continuation of Effects for International Registrations Designating Serbia

PODGORICA, MONTENEGRO - The deadline to request continuation of effects in Montenegro, after the split of the Union of Serbia and Montenegro on June 3, 2006, has been extended by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) to November 16, 2007.
According to SD PETOSEVIC, the original deadline set by WIPO was October 31, 2007, six months from the date of the notification sent by WIPO to holders of International Registrations.
Both the payment and the request for continuation of effects in Montenegro must reach WIPO by November 16, 2007.
