Cyprus Supreme Court Issues Injunction Ordering SABA to Cease Defamation of AGIP

17-Jun-2007

Abu-Ghazaleh Intellectual Property wins a 19-year old lawsuit against SABA; Cyprus Supreme Court issues an injunction to prevent SABA from any future defamation against AGIP

NICOSIA, CYPRUS - In a new development to the Cyprus court ruling against SABA in favor of Abu-Ghazaleh Intellectual Property (AGIP), the Supreme Court of Cyprus has now issued an injunction to prevent SABA from repeating the defamation actions against AGIP.

The Court ordered SABA and/or any of its representatives to cease publishing, or sending similar letters and/or statements and otherwise defaming AGIP, as it was found that they had done in the past.

The Court’s order was duly served via an authorized judicial process server at the registered offices of SABA in Cyprus.
