KHARTOUM - In accordance with Ministerial Decision No. 148 of 2007, issued on May 20, the rate of the Value Added Tax (VAT) on commodities and services has been increased from 10% to 12% in Sudan.
As per a statement released by the Taxation Chamber, the new rate has been applied with effect from May 29, 2007.
