Celebrating the World IP Day, AGIP Presents Computers to Jordan National Library

AMMAN - On the occasion of the World Intellectual Property (IP) Day, Abu-Ghazaleh Intellectual Property (AGIP) presented the latest high-tech and quality computers to Jordan National Library in a step that expresses the constructive cooperation between the private and public sectors in Jordan.

General Director of the National Library Mamoun Talhouni received the computers from AGIP Vice Chairman Luay Abu-Ghazaleh, with the attendance of AGIP Regional Office Executive Director, Charles Sha’ban and AGIP Jordan Office Manager Beesan Babieh, in addition to others from both parties.

"The National Library highly appreciates the partnership developed through the years with the private sector which will have positive impact on the Jordanian economy on all levels," Talhouni said.

He added that the Library is keen on working with the private sector to upgrade and modernize the level of service it provides.

Meanwhile, Abu-Ghazaleh said that the private sector should work closely with the public sector to create an entrepreneurial environment in Jordan.

Founded in 1994, the Jordanian National Library plays an important role in protecting Intellectual Property including copyrights which contributes to the basis of good governance.
